About Pokémonism

An independent, fan-made Pokémon reference for every way to play — built by fans, for fans, and for everyone who just wants a clear answer fast.

What Pokémonism is

Pokémonism is a free Pokémon database that brings every version of the game together in one place. Instead of hopping between a separate site for the main games, another for Pokémon GO, and another for the cards, you get the National Pokédex, GO, TCG Pocket, Champions, and Pokopia side by side — with the same clean, fast pages throughout.

We started Pokémonism because looking things up should be quick and friendly. Whether you are a kid checking a type matchup before a battle, a collector tracking a set, or a parent double-checking a page your child is reading, everything here is written to be clear, accurate, and easy to trust.

What we cover

One database, every way to play Pokémon.

How the site is made

Where the data comes from, and how we write.

Real game data

Core Pokémon facts — stats, types, moves, abilities, and evolutions — are sourced from PokéAPI, the open community data project. We build our own pages and tools on top of it.

Hand-written, never scraped

Every guide, description, and explainer is written by hand by the people who run Pokémonism. We do not copy or scrape editorial content from other Pokémon sites.

An independent fan project

Pokémonism is an unofficial fan site with no affiliation to Nintendo, Game Freak, or The Pokémon Company. We make it because we love Pokémon.

Safe and private by default

No accounts, no personal data collected, and nothing sold. Read exactly what we do and don't collect in our privacy policy.
