Changelog
What changed, when, and why — new features, verified data imports, methodology updates, and policy changes.
Site changes
Hand-written notes for every user-facing change. Each entry corresponds to a real shipped change — nothing here is backdated or padded.
- Data
Champions usage data connected (Showdown ladder)
Regulation pages now show real per-species usage rates with move, item, ability and teammate distributions, imported monthly from Smogon's Pokémon Showdown statistics — every number carries its snapshot month, source link, and battle count, and is labeled as ladder data (not the official in-game ranked ladder).
See it live - Feature
Faster heavy list pages
The full item list is split into per-generation segments, and the TCG Pocket card grid renders incrementally — so neither page mounts thousands of rows at once.
See it live - Policy
Privacy overhaul: cookieless first-party analytics + honest privacy policy
Analytics rebuilt to be cookieless and identifier-free — no cookies, no fingerprinting, no cross-day tracking — with a rewritten privacy policy that says exactly what is (and isn't) collected.
See it live - Methodology
GO rankings methodology published
The exact formula behind our GO tier list is now public, including what the model does NOT account for. Per-boss raid counters now compute real matchups — DPS + TDO against each boss's actual typing and tier-scaled stats.

Data provenance: verified import snapshots for every dynamic dataset
Every dynamic dataset (GO game data, TCG Pocket cards, competitive sets, the Champions roster) now records a verified snapshot on import. Pages cite the import's source and date — never a cache-refresh time.
- Policy
News reader pages deindexed
Aggregated news reader pages no longer ask search engines to index them, and headlines link straight to the original publishers. Their reporting, their traffic.
See it live - Feature
Champions regulation model + legality checker
Regulation sets are now first-class data with per-set pages, and a legality checker answers whether any Pokémon is legal in a given regulation.
See it live - Feature
Move Checker tool
Ask whether any Pokémon can learn any move and get the answer per generation — level-up, TM/HM, egg move, or tutor — with a link you can share.
See it live - Feature
Team builder: shareable links, local saves, Showdown export
Teams now live in the URL for sharing, persist locally between visits, and export to Pokémon Showdown format.

- Feature
A–Z indexes for moves and every regional Pokédex
Crawlable A-to-Z index pages for the full move list and all regional Pokédexes, so every entry is reachable in a couple of clicks.
