How friend codes work: in Pokémon GO, open your Trainer profile → Friends → Add Friend to see your 12-digit code. Adding friends earns gifts and XP — friendship levels (Good → Best) take 1, 7, 30 and 90 days of interaction and give a raid attack bonus and extra Premier Balls.
