How breeding works
Ditto is the universal breeding partner: leave it at the Nursery with almost any Pokémon — any gender, even genderless ones like Magnemite — and the egg hatches into the other parent's base form. Only Pokémon in the No Eggs group (most Legendaries and Mythicals) can't breed with it.
