Bashful
NatureOne of the five neutral natures. Every stat grows at its normal rate, so Hardy, Docile, Serious, Bashful and Quirky are interchangeable in battle — the only thing that separates them is the name on the summary screen.
No stat change
Bashful applies no ±10% modifier, so a BashfulPokémon has exactly its base stats at every level. That's a real cost in competitive play — you give up a 10% edge somewhere — but nothing is weakened either, which is fine anywhere outside a battle spreadsheet.
Changed your mind?
A Mint (Sword & Shield onward) gives a Bashful Pokémon a real ±10% spread while the summary screen still reads Bashful.
