About Pokémon Stadium

Pokémon Stadium brought the Kanto roster into full 3D for the first time, letting players battle with rental Pokémon or import their own teams from the Game Boy cartridges via the Transfer Pak. Beyond the tournament cups and the Gym Leader Castle, its wild collection of mini-games became a multiplayer staple. Pokémon Stadium 2 followed with Johto Pokémon and even more modes.

What makes it special

Your team in 3D

Plug a Red, Blue, or Yellow cartridge into the Transfer Pak and battle with the very Pokémon you raised on Game Boy.

Mini-games

Sushi-Go-Round, Clefairy Says and other party mini-games made Stadium a couch-multiplayer classic.

Round 2 & Mewtwo

Clearing every cup unlocks a tougher Round 2 and a showdown with Mewtwo — the ultimate test of a champion.
