About Pokémon Colosseum
The first full 3D Pokémon RPG on a home console, set in the desert region of Orre. You play Wes, an ex-member of Team Snagem who steals their Snag Machine and turns it against them, rescuing Shadow Pokémon — Pokémon whose hearts were artificially sealed shut to turn them into fighting machines. There are no wild encounters in Orre: every Pokémon on your team is snagged from another trainer, then slowly purified.

What makes it special
Snag & purify
The Snag Machine lets you steal Shadow Pokémon from enemy trainers, then open their hearts back up at the Relic Stone and Purification Chamber.
Espeon & Umbreon
Wes starts with an Eevee-evolution duo — Espeon and Umbreon — rather than a traditional trio of starters.
Double battles
Nearly every fight in Orre is a double battle, making Colosseum far more tactical than the handheld games of its era.
