Gameplay & Mechanics
The core loops of Pokémon Pokopia — befriend Pokémon to learn moves, then craft, build, farm, and transform your island into a paradise.
Befriend & learn moves
Pokémon you bring to the island teach your Ditto moves — the heart of the gameplay loop.
Reshape the world
Use learned moves to grow bushes, water plants, cut debris, smash rocks, start fires, and generate electricity.
Transform
Special moves let Ditto transform into certain Pokémon to solve puzzles and traverse the islands.
Crafting
Gather materials and craft tools, furniture, and building kits at workbenches — batch-craft to save time.
Building
Lay paths, bridges, and buildings to shape the island and attract new wild Pokémon.
Farming & cooking
Grow vegetables, flowers and plants, then cook recipes with different food flavors.
Decorating
Furniture, painting, favorite items, and CDs (with DJ Rotom) to personalize your paradise.
Comfy Level
Raise each area's Environment / Comfy Level and earn Mosslax Boosts as the island flourishes.
The core loop
Bring it home to your island — every returning species makes the island livelier.
Each Pokémon that moves in teaches your Ditto one of its moves.
Use learned moves to cut debris, water plants, smash rocks, start fires, and generate electricity.
